Wade World Trade was founded in 1946 as part of a much larger post-War campaign to re-establish Britain as a centre of international trade. Although the organisation has gone through many changes since then its objectives, as set down in its original charter, remain unaltered. These are:
'To educate and advise Members on how to establish and operate a successful Import and/or Export Agency.'
'To provide Members with information, support and contacts designed to ensure their continued success.'
